Dollar General is now open in Riddle.
The location at 332 Fifth Avenue has been in operation since Sunday.
Angela Petkovic from the company’s public relations department said Dollar General stores sell household essentials like food, cleaning supplies, paper products, over-the-counter medicines, hygiene products, baby items and more. Petkovic said approximately 75 percent of Americans live within five miles of a Dollar General location.
The store is expected to employ 6 to 10 people.
This is the 12th Dollar General in Douglas County. Its open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. seven days a week.
