South Umpqua School District Superintendent Kate McLaughlin has announced that they have been notified by the Douglas Public Health Network of a positive case of COVID-19 at Tri City Elementary School.

McLaughlin said they have been working with local public health officials to notify parents of the students in the cohort and are asking them to quarantine and monitor for symptoms.
