EMERGENCY GRANT PROGRAM FOR SMALL BUSINESSES

The CCD Business Development Corporation has released information about an Emergency Small Business and Microenterprise Assistance Grant Program designed to help businesses that are impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

A release said the City of Roseburg and Douglas County applied for and received a $150,000 Community Development Block Grant to be used to complete the program. The release said its intended to help businesses remain solvent through the crisis and be ready to rebuild and/or reopen.
To be eligible, businesses must be:

*Located in Douglas County
*Were immediately impacted by the public health restrictions
*Were generally stable/strong prior to the crisis.
*Employ low-moderate income individuals, or be a microenterprise with five or fewer employees and an owner that is low-moderate income as well
*Must have been in business for a minimum of one-year.

The eligible grant amount is between $2,500 and $10,000.
CCD is administering the grant program. Applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. A link to the application is at www.ccdbusiness.org.
