COVID-19 has claimed 3 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 1,880, as of Sunday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 582 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 138,168. The new cases include:
*78 in Multnomah County
*72 in Marion County
*59 in Washington County
*49 each in Clackamas and Lane counties
*47 in Jackson County
*31 in Deschutes County
*26 each in Coos and Klamath counties
*20 in Josephine County
*18 each in Linn and Polk counties
*16 in Umatilla County
*14 in Douglas County
*9 each in Crook and Hood River counties
*7 in Yamhill County
*6 in Lincoln County
*5 each in Lake and Union counties
*4 in Jefferson County
*3 each in Benton, Malheur and Morrow counties
*2 in Wasco County
*1 each in Curry, Harney, and Tillamook counties
The new deaths ranged in age from 58 to 90. 1 each lived in Douglas, Jackson and Marion counties.
OHA said the total number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 310, the same as Saturday. There are 80 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 3 fewer than on Saturday.
OHA reported that 14,755 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 11,243 doses were administered on Saturday. 3,512 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Saturday.
Oregon has now administered a cumulative total of 300,662 first and second doses of COVID-19 vaccines. To date, 492,450 doses of vaccine were administered to sites across Oregon.
