2 MORE DEATHS, 11 MORE POSITIVE TEST RESULTS FOR COVID-19, AS OF SUNDAY

2 more people have died from COVID-19 in Douglas County, and 11 more people have received new positive test results, as of Sunday.

County Public Health Officer Doctor Bob Dannenhoffer said the 45th death was a 66-year old man who passed away on January 20th, and was confirmed positive with COVID-19 post mortem on Saturday. The 46th death was an 82-year old man who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on January 13th and passed away on Saturday.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 1,178. Of those, 1,683 are people that have received positive test results and 95 are presumptive. 10 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 8 locally and 2 outside the area. 173 people are in isolation. 375 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 548 people that are either in isolation or quarantine.

The next drive through testing clinic with DPHN will be Friday in Roseburg.
