COVID-19 has claimed 11 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 1,843, as of Thursday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 849 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 135,973. The cases include:

*110 in Washington County
*97 in Lane County
*87 in Marion County
*71 in Clackamas County
*42 in Jackson County
*35 in Umatilla County
*32 in Deschutes County
*26 in Yamhill County
*24 in Benton County
*23 in Linn County
*22 in Douglas County
*21 in Josephine County
*18 each in Klamath, Malheur and Polk counties
*11 in Lincoln, Morrow and Wasco counties
*10 in Coos County
*8 in Hood River County
*7 in Clatsop County
*6 each in Jefferson and Union counties
*4 in Baker County
*2 in Crook County
*1 each in Columbia, Gilliham, Harney, Lake, Tillamook and Wallowa counties
The new deaths ranged in age from 52 to 100. 5 lived in Jackson County. 3 lived in Lane County. 1 each lived in Clackamas, Washington, and Yamhill counties.
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 329, which is 7 fewer than on Wednesday. There are 87 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 3 fewer than on Wednesday.
On Thursday, OHA reported that 14,951 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of this total, 8,699 vaccine doses were administered on Wednesday and 6,252 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Wednesday.
Oregon has now administered a cumulative total of 253,711 first and second doses of COVID-19 vaccines. To date, 479,325 doses of vaccine have been delivered to sites across Oregon.
