1 MORE DEATH, 17 NEW POSITIVE TEST RESULTS, 1 PRESUMPTIVE CASE, AS OF FRIDAY

1 more Douglas County resident has died of COVID-19, 17 more people have received new positive test results, and there is 1 new presumptive case, as of Friday.

County Public Health Officer Doctor Bob Dannenhoffer said the 44th death was an 84- year old man who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on January 8th and passed away on Thursday.

The total number of cases is now at 1,757. Of those, 1,661 are people that have received positive test results and 96 are presumptive. 11 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 9 locally and 2 outside the area. 154 people are in isolation. 322 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 476 people that are either in isolation or quarantine.

The next drive through testing clinic with DPHN will be Tuesday in Roseburg.
