The Roseburg VA Health Care System has begun to administer the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at both the Roseburg VA Medical Center and the Eugene VA Health Care Center.

A release said the vaccine is being given to eligible and enrolled veterans by appointment only, with no walk-in appointments available. Those who are interested should:

*Go to: https://www.va.gov/health-care/covid-19-vaccine/ and click on the “sign up to stay informed button. This site will help the VA gather information on which veterans are eligible, enrolled and interested in receiving the vaccine.

*Veterans will be prioritized by age and health condition according to guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the VA, based on information provided on the website.

Veterans will then receive a call from the VA, scheduling them for a time to be vaccinated.
