Five people were arrested during a warrant sweep conducted by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday.

Sergeant Brad O’Dell said the sweep took place at around 12:00 p.m. at several locations around the southern portion of the county. The detained included:

*29-year old Days Creek woman

*50-year old Canyonville woman

*28-year old Myrtle Creek woman

*36-year old Glendale woman

Also arrested was 24-year old John Lander of Days Creek. Along with the warrant, the man was allegedly found to be in possession of a firearm. A new charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm was added. He was detained on $55,000 bail.
