KIERAN RAMSEY TO LEAD FBI’S PORTLAND FIELD OFFICE

Kieran Ramsey has been named as the special agent in charge of the Portland Field Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

A release from FBI Oregon said most recently, Ramsey served as the director of the FBI Hostage Fusion Cell in the Counterterrorism Division at the FBI headquarters in Washington, D.C.

The release said Ramsey joined the FBI as a special agent in 1998 and was assigned to the Seattle Field Office. He has served in a number of roles since then including being named legal attache’ in Rome in 2017, covering Italy, the Holy See, and Malta.

Prior to joining the FBI, Ramsey was a special agent with the U.S. Customs Service.
