POLICE JAIL MAN FOLLOWING ALLEGED DISORDERLY CONDUCT INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged disorderly conduct incident on Monday.

Information from RPD said just after 1:15 p.m. officers responded to a report that a man was throwing soda on a vehicle in the 3100 block of Northeast Stephens. 41-year old Keith Markley was found sitting on the railroad tracks behind the Salvation Army. He was captured after a short foot chase across Stephens.

Charges included resisting arrest, first degree criminal trespass, and third degree counts of escape and criminal mischief. Markley was held on $21,250 bail.
