COVID-19 CLAIMS 3 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 1,803, AS OF MONDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 3 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 1,803, as of Monday.

An update from the Oregon Heath Authority reported 666 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID 19, bringing the state total to 133,851. The new cases include:

*140 in Multnomah County

*87 in Washington County

*81 in Lane County

*79 in Marion County

*57 in Clackamas County

*51 in Deschutes County

*40 in Jackson County

*29 in Umatilla County

*11 in Douglas County

*10 each in Benton and Wasco counties

*9 each in Josephine, Crook and Polk counties

*8 each in Linn and Yamhill counties

*6 each in Columbia and Morrow counties

*5 in Lincoln County

*4 in Malheur County

*3 in Hood River County

*1 in Lake County

The new deaths ranged in age from 55 to 99. 1 each lived in Lane, Marion and Multnomah counties.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 342, which is 19 fewer than on Sunday. There are 94 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 1 fewer than on Sunday.

On Monday, OHA reported that 11,951 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of this total, 8,409 vaccine doses were administered on Sunday.

To date, 335,075 doses of vaccine have been delivered to sites across Oregon.
