A Grants Pass woman was jailed for misusing the 911 reporting system, by Roseburg Police on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at about 9:15 a.m. the 76-year old called police dispatch 6 times in 30 minutes and at no point reported an emergency. The report said the suspect was warned numerous times but continued to call.

She was contacted in the 400 block of Southeast Stephens and charged with improper use of 911. Bail was set at $6,250.
