Few details are available but five vehicles were involved in an injury accident on Interstate Five on Monday night.

A report from Oregon State Police said at about 9:30 p.m. a northbound vehicle lost control and rolled over, ending up in the slow lane of travel about a mile south of Sutherlin. A second vehicle pulled off to assist when a third vehicle came on the scene and hit the first vehicle.

The report said the third vehicle ended up right in front of the second one. A fourth vehicle hit the first vehicle and rolled, hitting the second vehicle which pushed that vehicle into the third vehicle. A fifth vehicle struck the fourth vehicle.

Four of the vehicles had to be towed from the scene. Information on the number of people injured is not yet available.
