21 NEW POSITIVE TEST RESULTS FOR COVID-19 IN COUNTY, AS OF TUESDAY

21 more people have received new positive test results for COVID-19 in Douglas County, as of Tuesday.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said despite a surge of recent cases, the county will remain in the current State mandated risk level, which currently provides an opportunity for all local businesses to be open. The update said the total number of cases is now at 1,596. Of those, 1,510 are people that have received positive test results and 86 are presumptive. There have been 42 deaths. 9 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 6 locally and 3 outside the area. 158 people are in isolation. 215 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 373 people that are either in isolation or quarantine.
