COVID-19 has claimed 10 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 1,613, as of Monday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 939 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 126,607. The new cases include:
*314 in Washington County
*110 in Marion County
*87 in Clackamas County
*63 in Umatilla County
*61 in Lane County
*40 each in Jackson and Polk counties
*38 each in Josephine and Deschutes counties
*18 in Yamhill County
*16 each in Douglas and Multnomah counties
*15 in Coos County
*14 in Columbia County
*13 each in Benton and Linn counties
*8 each in Lincoln and Morrow counties
*7 in Wasco County
*5 each in Jefferson and Union counties
*3 in Hood River County
*2 in Malheur and Tillamook counties
*1 each in Baker, Clatsop, and Crook counties
The new deaths ranged in age between 74 and 98. 5 lived in Multnomah County. 3 lived in Lane County. 1 each lived in Jefferson and Washington counties.
OHA reported the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 409, which is 6 more than on Sunday. There are 84 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is unchanged from Sunday.
On Monday, 7,585 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 5,422 vaccines doses were administered on Sunday and 2,163 were administered on previous days but were entered into the registery on Sunday.
Oregon has now administered a cumulative total of 104,595 first and second doses of COVID-19 vaccines. To date, 270,800 doses of vaccine have been delivered to sites across Oregon.
