A Roseburg man was hospitalized following a two-vehicle wreck that partially blocked a busy Roseburg intersection on Thursday afternoon.

A report from Roseburg Police said just after 4:00 p.m. a 68-year old was traveling west on Garden Valley Boulevard and began a left turn on a flashing yellow light onto Troost. The man didn’t see an eastbound vehicle driven by a 68-year old Winston woman and ran into it. That caused his pickup to roll onto its side.

The man had to be extricated by Roseburg Fire Department personnel before being transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center. The other driver claimed not to be injured. Both vehicles were totaled and had to be towed from the scene.
The man was cited for making a dangerous left turn.
