20 more people have received new positive test results for COVID-19 in Douglas County, and 3 more people are presumptive, as of Thursday.
County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said current cases continue to come from holiday gatherings, church services and people in close quarters with non-family members.
An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 1,509. Of those, 1,424 are people that have received positive test results, and 85 are presumptive. There have been 42 deaths. 5 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 2 locally and 3 outside the area. 160 people are in isolation. 170 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 330 people that are either in isolation or quarantine.
The next drive through testing clinic with DPHN will be Friday in Roseburg.
