COVID-19 has claimed 44 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 1,550, as of Tuesday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 1,059 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 119,488. The new cases include:

*100 in Washington County
*99 in Marion County
*75 in Umatilla County
*69 each in Jackson and Deschutes counties
*65 in Lane County
*42 in Linn County
*28 in Polk County
*26 in Josephine County
*23 in Yamhill County
*22 in Crook County
*21 in Douglas County
*18 in Benton County
*17 in Coos County
*16 in Malheur County
*10 each in Jefferson and Klamath counties
*6 each in Lincoln, Morrow and Wasco counties
*5 in Hood River County
*4 in Tillamook County
*3 each in Baker, Clatsop, Columbia, and Union counties
*2 each in Curry, Lake and Wallowa counties
*1 each in Harney and Sherman counties
The new deaths ranged in age from 42 to 96.
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 494, which is 17 more than on Monday. There are 107 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 5 more than on Monday.
On Tuesday, OHA recorded 3,964 doses of vaccine administered – including 317 second doses – raising the state’s total number of doses administered to 55,239. That figure is based on preliminary reports of 2,818 doses administered on Tuesday, along with 1,146 administered on previous days that had not been recorded.
