A Roseburg man was jailed for a reported assault on Sunday.

Information from Roseburg Police said at about 1:00 a.m. officers responded to the 900 block of Northeast Stephens. During an investigation it was found that the victim had an injury from the 49-year old man reportedly hitting her, that was still causing impairment three days later.

The suspect was charged with fourth degree assault. Bail was set at $6,250.
