18 NEW POSITIVE TEST RESULTS FOR COVID-19 IN COUNTY AS OF TUESDAY

18 more people have received new positive test results for COVID-19 in Douglas County, as of Tuesday.

County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said most of the new cases are being driven by holiday gatherings and church services.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 1,474. Of those, 1,392 are people that have received positive test results and 82 are presumptive. There have been 41 deaths. 3 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 2 locally and 1 outside the area. 134 people are in isolation. 161 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 295 people that are either in isolation, or quarantine.
