Oregon State Police jailed a man for allegedly driving a stolen vehicle on Sunday.
An OSP report said at about 2:40 p.m. the vehicle was stopped while headed northbound on Interstate Five near the Winston exit. The report said an investigation revealed a large amount of marijuana in the vehicle as well as a stolen handgun and stolen prescription medications.
Charges included unauthorized use of a vehicle, possession of a firearm by a felon and for DUII alcohol. 34-year old Andrew Cartwright was detained on $150,000 bail. The registered owner of the vehicle lived in Glendale and retrieved the vehicle on scene.
