CHRISTMAS TREE RECYCLING UNDERWAY

Christmas tree recycling is underway with Roseburg Disposal.

Trees can be dropped off for free at ten locations. Those include:

*Legion Field on Stewart Parkway

*Kline Street in front of Hucrest School

*The corner of Calkins and Jefferson.

*Totem Market on Northeast Stephens in Winchester

*Sherm’s Thunderbird, on Stewart Parkway

*Kowloons Restaurant on Diamond Lake Boulevard

*Umpqua Auction on Northeast Stephens

*Rose Street by the former Safeway location

*Redeemer’s Fellowship parking lot in front of the former cinema on West Harvard

*Gaddis Park on Northeast Highland

The trees will be recycled into mulch for the county. Trees must be free of ornaments, flocking, lights, plastic bags, metal stands or other refuse. There will be a $10 charge for trees picked up from homes and offices. Trees must be cut into four feet or shorter lengths.  The recycling program continues through January 11th.
