COVID-19 has claimed 19 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 1,468, as of Wednesday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 1,052 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 112,260. The new cases include:

*121 in Marion County
*104 in Clackamas County
*103 in Washington County
*80 in Lane County
*59 in Jackson County
*57 in Umatilla County
*47 in Deschutes County
*31 in Malheur County
*29 in Klamath County
*27 in Josephine County
*21 in Wasco County
*20 each in Linn and Polk counties
*19 in Hood River County
*18 each in Douglas and Yamhill counties
*15 in Coos County
*14 each in Benton and Crook counties
*12 in Clatsop County
*10 in Tillamook County
*9 each in Jefferson and Morrow counties
*4 in Baker County
*3 each in Curry and Union counties
*2 in Lincoln County
*1 in Lake County
The new deaths ranged in age from 45 to 100.
OHA said there are 521 patients hospitalized with COVID-19 across Oregon, which is 6 fewer than on Tuesday. There are 110 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 9 fewer than on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, 3,504 doses of vaccine were administered, raising the state’s total number of first vaccine doses to 31,382. All vaccinations occurred at Oregon hospitals and long-term care facilities.
