1 more person has died of COVID-19 in Douglas County, 9 more people have received new positive test results, and there is 1 new presumptive case, as of Tuesday.
County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the 38th death is a 61-year-old man who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on November 30th and passed away on December 12th.
An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 1,354. Of those, 1,275 are people that have received positive test results and 79 are presumptive. There are 10 Douglas County COVID-19 patients that are hospitalized, 9 locally and 1 outside the area. 104 people are in isolation. 225 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 329 people that are either in isolation or quarantine.
