Roseburg Police cited a woman for an unusual theft incident on Thursday.

An RPD report said just before 4:00 p.m. the 63-year old was allegedly caught affixing fraudulent price tags to expensive merchandise at Walmart on Stewart Parkway. The woman then reportedly purchased the items at a greatly reduced cost.

The woman was charged with second degree counts of theft, and theft by deception. She was released after the citations were issued.
