Roseburg Police cited a man following a wreck on Friday night.

An RPD report said at about 10:30 p.m. officers responded to the area of Northwest Broad and Northwest Edenbower regarding a car that had left the road, drove through a city fence, and went down a long embankment.

Officers arrived and allegedly saw the 57-year driver trying to get his car unstuck. The report said the suspect showed obvious signs of impairment. He was cited for rescklass driving and DUII alcohol.

The man was released after being cited.
