A Winston man was hurt in a single vehicle crash Monday evening along Interstate Five about 3 miles north of Canyon Creek.

A report from Oregon State Police said at about 6:15 p.m. a pickup left the roadway to the right and traveled on the shoulder behind a guardrail for approximately 50 yards before crashing into several trees. The driver was taken to a hospital with several injuries.

The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
