Sutherlin Police are seeking the suspect in a robbery that allegedly took place early Sunday morning.
Police Chief Troy Mills said just after 8:00 a.m. a 15-year old male juvenile reported that he was walking south in the 100 block of South Comstock Road when he was approached and pushed down by a male in his 20s or 30s. The victim claimed the man told him to empty his pockets, so he threw a small amount of cash on the ground, and ran away. The suspect then reportedly ran away, headed south on South Comstock.
Mills said the suspect was reported have a dark complexion, was approximately five foot six inches tall, and was wearing dark faded jeans and a dark blue or black hooded jacket.
