401 wreaths have been laid at the Roseburg National Cemetery, but due to COVID-19, changes were made in the annual Wreaths Across America event.

A release from the Southern Oregon district of the Patriot Guard Riders said for the safety of the community, what would have been the 15th annual wreath laying ceremony is not being held. Residents are encouraged to drive through the cemetery to view the wreaths and honor those who have sacrificed for the nation. It is recommended that any photos be taken from the safety of a vehicle. Masks and gloves are required on cemetery grounds.

Wreaths will remain in place through January 7th.
