COVID-19 CLAIMS 1 MORE LIFE, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 1,341 AS OF SUNDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 1 more life, raising the state death toll to 1,341, as of Sunday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported1,153 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 102,930. The new cases include:

*261 in Washington County

*203 in Marion County

*174 in Multnomah County

*77 in Clackamas County

*61 in Lane County

*50 in Klamath County

*47 in Jackson County

*44 in Umatilla County

*43 in Deschutes County

*28 in Yamhill County

*27 in Linn County

*19 in Polk County

*17 each in Hood River and Wasco counties

*16 in Josephine County

*9 in Columbia County

*7 each in Benton and Curry counties

*5 each in Coos and Crook counties

*4 each in Douglas, Jefferson and Lake counties

*3 each in Clackamas Clatsop, Lincoln, Morrow and Union counties

*1 each in Sherman and Tillamook counties

Oregon’s 1,341st COVID-19 death is a 91-year old woman in Josephine County who tested positive on December 5th and died on December 17th at Ashland Community Hospital.

The number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 530, which is 6 fewer than on Saturday. There are 121 COVID-19 patients in intensive care units beds, which is 17 more than on Saturday.
