A Roseburg man was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle following an incident on Thursday.

A report from Roseburg Police said at about 5:45 p.m. 43-year old Kyle Northern and an acquaintance were at a friend’s residence in the 1200 block of Ellan and allegedly took a vehicle without permission. After the registered owner called police, the vehicle was located by Winston Police who took Northern into custody.

Northern was also held for a probation violation and was detained without bail.
