The Roseburg Lions Club is selling See’s Candy for the Christmas holidays.
A release said the club has been doing the annual event for over 35 years. Candy sales runs through Christmas Eve or until the candy sells out. The Lion’s candy trailer is in the northwest corner of the Sherm’s Thunderbird parking lot off of Northwest Stewart Parkway.
100 percent of the profits from the sales are used for the club’s projects to assist people in the community. Over the years, the Roseburg Lions Club has donated or contributed monies to help with local sight and hearing recipients, various youth organizations, community projects, cancer research and assistance, scholarships to Umpqua Community College and more.
Candy is sold daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. COVID-19 guidelines are being followed to ensure a safe but friendly candy-buying experience.
