The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2468 Operation Homefront toys giveaway is happening this Friday and Saturday.

Commander Michael Eakin said in years past the group was able to give away toys to as many as 500 veteran families. He is hoping for the same results this year.

Recipients should have a form of identification showing that they are military or veteran families. The event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. The VFW Post is at 1127 Northeast Walnut Street in Roseburg.

Eakin said those attending should observe COVID-19 restrictions this year. Call 672-9716 for more information.
