Three men were hurt in a crash on Highway 138E in the Twin Lakes area on Saturday.
A report from Oregon State Police said at about 2:30 p.m. the driver of an eastbound vehicle encountered icy conditions on a bridge. 54-year old Daniel Stevens lost control and struck a tree on the right side. The report said all three occupants had to be extracted by the Jaws of Life. Two passengers, 54-year old Stanley Bowlin and 35-year old Nathaniel Stevens were transported via ambulance. Their conditions are unknown as they were not listed as patients at Mercy Medical Center or Peacehealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend in Springfield, as of last check.
Daniel Stevens was transported by ground ambulance to Mercy and the taken by air to the Riverbend facility. He was listed in serious condition at last check.
