A Roseburg man was jailed following an alleged assault on Friday night.

Information from Roseburg Police said at about 9:20 p.m. officers responded to a report of a physical fight at the Budget 16 Motel in the 1000 block of Northeast Stephens. The report said 41-year old Aaron Harding had allegedly used a pair of homemade metal nunchakus and hit a victim in the head, causing a laceration above the man’s left temple.

Harding was contacted across the street and taken into custody. Charges included second degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon. Bail was set at $300,000.
