COVID-19 CLAIMS 6 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 1,161 AS OF MONDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 6 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 1,161 as of Monday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 1,180 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 95,010. The new cases include:

*248 in Multnomah County

*234 in Washington County

*190 in Marion County

*97 in Clackamas County

*72 in Lane County

*43 in Deschutes County

*40 in Jackson County

*38 in Yamhill County

*34 in Linn County

*27 in Klamath County

*26 in Polk County

*23 in Umatilla County

*17 in Josephine County

*11 each in Benton and Hood River counties

*10 in Columbia County

*8 in Coos County

*7 in Lincoln County

*6 in Malheur County

*5 each in Douglas and Tillamook counties

*4 each in Crook, Curry, Jefferson, Union and Wasco counties

*3 in Clatsop County

*1 each in Baker, Grant, Gilliam, Morrow, and Sherman counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 77 to 97. 2 lived in Clackamas County. 1 each lived in Douglas, Deschutes, Hood River and Washington counties.

The number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 539, which is 4 more than on Sunday. There are 121 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 4 fewer than on Sunday.
