1 MORE DEATH, 20 NEW POSITIVE TEST RESULTS, 2 NEW PRESUMPTIVE CASES OF COVID-19

1 more person has died from COVID-19 in Douglas County, 20 more people have received new positive test results, and there are 2 new presumptive cases, as of Sunday.

County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the 30th COVID-19 death was an 88-year old man who was diagnosed with COVID and admitted to the hospital on November 30th. He passed away on Saturday.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 1,201. Of those, 1,124 are people that have received positive test results and 77 are presumptive. 11 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized locally. 205 people are in isolation. 309 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 514 people that are either in isolation or quarantine.

The next drive through testing clinic with the Douglas Public Health Network is Tuesday in Roseburg.
