Detectives with the Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team arrested a man on firearms charges on Wednesday.
Lieutenant Rick McArthur of DINT said 47-year old Kevin Davison was contacted in the 4700 block of Northeast Stephens in Winchester. He was taken into custody due to an outstanding warrant for a parole violation. A search of the man allegedly revealed an illegal switch blade dagger. McArthur said detectives also searched the man’s vehicle and reportedly found a loaded handgun concealed inside.
Charges included being a felon in possession of a firearm, unlawful possession and concealment of firearms, being a felon in possession of a restricted weapon and for the parole violation.
Davison was detained without bail. No further details in the case were released.
