MAN JAILED FOR UNLAWFUL POSSESSION AND DELIVERY OF METH

A Bend man was jailed on drug charges after being arrested by the Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team on Thursday.

Lieutenant Rick McArthur of DINT said 36-year old Chad Allrunner was taken into custody on Main Street in Myrtle Creek. McArthur said the suspect was initially detained on an outstanding warrant out of Deschutes County.

DINT detectives requested the assistance of a drug detection K9. Winston Police responded with K9 Buster. Buster alerted to the presence of controlled substances in Allrunner’s vehicle. McArthur said a search allegedly revealed a small amount of suspected methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia. A search of Allrunner himself, reportedly revealed the man had 123 grams of suspected meth.

Charges included unlawful possession and delivery of meth and for the warrant. He was detained without bail.
