A Roseburg man was jailed on drug and shoplifting charges on Thursday night.

A report from Roseburg Police said at about 9:00 p.m. officers contacted 37-year old Eddie Green in the 2600 block of Stewart Parkway as they were investigating successive cases of Green trespassing and shoplifting in multiple stores.

The report said methamphetamine was allegedly found in the man’s possession. Charges included unlawful possession of meth, and two counts each of first-degree criminal trespass and third degree theft.

Green was jailed on $65,000 bail.
