No one was hurt when a single vehicle crashed on Highway 38 near Drain on Wednesday.
A report from Oregon State Police said at 6:30 a.m. the operator of a sedan lost control while attempting to negotiate a curve. The driver said she thought her vehicle had a problem with the wheel prior to the crash. The report said roadway evidence did not show a mechanical issue with the vehicle prior to the crash.
There was both private and public property damage. The 39-year old female driver from Oakridge was cited for failure to drive within a lane. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
