MAN JAILED FOR DISORDERLY CONDUCT

A Portland man was jailed following an alleged disorderly conduct incident on Tuesday night.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at 10:00 p.m. security staff at Seven Feathers in Canyonville attempted to contact a man lying on a sidewalk. The report said the 36-year old became belligerent and was detained. During the altercation, the man reportedly spit in the face of a security staff member.

The man was charged with second degree disorderly conduct and for harassment. Bail was set at $2,000.
