A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning for central Douglas County and surrounding areas.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said visibility Is a quarter of a mile or less in dense fog, leading to hazardous driving conditions.

The Advisory area includes Josephine and Jackson counties, along with eastern Curry County.

Forecasters said fog could be freezing fog in some colder outlying areas leading to frost accumulation on walkways and roadways.
