ACCESS TO ROSEBURG CITY HALL NOW LIMITED

December 9, 2020 9:20 a.m.

In response to the new state guidelines regarding COVID-19, access to Roseburg City Hall will be limited beginning on Thursday.

Communications Specialist Eric Johnson said the public is urged to do business with the City electronically via phone, online or email.

Johnson said staff have started rotations working remotely in order to mitigate the potential spread of COVID-19 and to promote a safe work environment. A limited number of staff will continue to work in-person at City Hall. Public access will be limited to only the 2nd floor lobby. Face coverings and distancing measures are required at all times in the lobby. City Hall hours are 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays.

Johnson said these things can be accessed electronically:

*Paying water bills and court fines

*Parking permits

*Business registrations

*Land use and zoning applications

*Career opportunities
