In response to the latest guidance from the Oregon Health Authority, the Roseburg Public Library building will remain closed until further notice.
Director Kris Wiley said in the meantime, patrons are encouraged to utilize the library’s contactless services.
Wiley said staff will continue to monitor the public health situation and consider reopening the building when Douglas County’s COVID-19 risk level decreases to moderate, according to OHA’s metric.
Wiley said drive-up pickup service remains every Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Patrons can log into their accounts and place holds at https://roseburg.biblionix.com/catalog/ using their library card number and password. Patrons can also call 492-7050 to receive assistance.
The library’s digital platforms remain available 24/7. Wiley said thousands of electronic books and audiobooks are available for readers of all ages through cloudLibrary and OverDrive.
