COVID-19 has claimed 12 mores lives, raising the state’s death toll to 1,045 as of Monday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 1,331 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state case total to 85,778. The new cases include:
*330 in Multnomah County
*225 in Washington County
*165 in Marion County
*134 in Clackamas County
*78 in Lane County
*66 in Deschutes County
*50 in Linn County
*44 in Jefferson County
*35 in Yamhill County
*24 in Polk County
*21 each in Jackson and Josephine counties
*19 in Benton County
*17 in Lincoln County
*16 in Wasco County
*15 in Umatilla County
*11 each in Douglas and Malheur counties
*9 in Coos County
*8 in Curry County
*7 each in Columbia and Union counties
*5 in Baker County
*3 each in Harney and Hood River counties
*1 in Grant County
The new deaths ranged in age from 37 to 93. 5 lived in Multnomah County. 2 lived in Linn County. 1 each lived in Gilliam, Lane, Marion, Washington and Benton counties.
OHA said the total number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients across Oregon increased to 565, 19 more than on Sunday. There are 120 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, 7 more than on Sunday.
