17 families in the Rogue Valley have been moved into mobile housing units provided by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, as of Friday.
Paul Corah of FEMA said the residents are now in the Southern Oregon RV Park in Central Point. Corah said the agency is happy to get the families out of motel rooms and into this temporary housing. 1,000s of wildfire survivors were still living in motels as of last week, but Corah said the goal is to get them into temporary housing as soon as possible.
Construction will begin this week on a new build out of the RV park.
