COVID-19 CLAIMS 6 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 1,033 AS OF SUNDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 6 more lives, raising the state death toll to 1,033 as of Sunday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 1,290 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state case total to 84,496. The new cases include:

*218 in Marion County

*187 each in Multnomah and Clackamas counties

*181 in Washington County

*99 in Jackson County

*83 in Lane County

*63 in Deschutes County

*38 in Umatilla County

*33 in Klamath County

*32 in Yamhill County

*20 in Douglas County

*19 in Polk County

*17 in Hood River

*14 in Linn County

*12 in Columbia

*10 each in Coos and Jefferson counties

*8 each in Clatsop and Wasco counties

*7 in Josephine County

*6 in Lincoln County

*4 in Curry County

*3 each in Benton and Union counties

*1 each in Baker, Harney and Tillamook counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 58 to 89. 2 lived in Marion County. 1 each lived in Douglas, Coos, Multnomah and Polk counties.

OHA said the total number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients decreased by 10 to 546. There are 113 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, five fewer than on Saturday.
