A 28-year old woman was jailed following an unusual incident early Wednesday in the 14,000 block of Northbank Road north of Roseburg.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said just after 6:00 a.m. a victim said an unknown woman was found in their laundry room. The victim said the woman took a sweatshirt and his cat and left on foot.

The report said Ashley Mozingo was found down the road wearing the sweatshirt and carrying the cat. She was taken to jail. Charges included first degree burglary and first and third degree counts of theft. After arraignment, she was detained on $12,000 bail.
